Answers for the next step.

Use this guide for account access, building and editing your website, member management, and email security. If the answer is not here, contact SiteHive support directly.

Account and activation

  • Choose a paid plan and create the account with the email address you control.
  • A new account stays pending until payment is confirmed and an administrator activates it.
  • The requested SiteHive address is assigned during activation only if it is still available.
  • Open Profile & security to see the selected plan, activation date when recorded, valid-until date, and account-created date.

Generate and edit the website

  • Start in the workspace and describe only facts that are true for the business.
  • Review the generated draft before sharing it. A successful first draft publishes the active website.
  • Use Edit website for branding and page content, and Pages to choose the pages included by the current plan.
  • Contact-form messages appear in Leads. Reply to the customer using the contact details they provided.

Member portal

  • The portal is optional and must be available on the active plan before it can be enabled.
  • Choose whether registration is open and add only the profile fields the business genuinely needs.
  • A visitor verifies their email with a six-digit code, then waits for business approval when approval is required.
  • Use Members to review, approve, suspend, reactivate or remove member accounts.

Security and email

  • Email verification and password recovery use short-lived six-digit codes. Only the newest code works.
  • If a code does not arrive, check Spam or Junk, confirm the email address, then wait for the resend timer before trying again.
  • The first successful email counts. Resends wait two minutes; the fifth successful send is delivered, then further sends are blocked for 24 hours while that newest code still works for its 10-minute lifetime.
  • If fewer than five emails are sent, that send counter resets 24 hours after the first successful send in the window. Five incorrect code entries invalidate the current code.
  • Never send a password or verification code to support. Use Profile & security to update account details or begin password recovery.
